Karen Schwartz, Trainer

Posted | 0 comments

Karen grew up in New Jersey spending all her free time around a horse barn with horses, many dogs, and cats. She began training and competing with horses in high school. Karen got the dog training bug when she adopted her dog Darwin, who was described as “having enough energy to light up a town!” Dog training classes got them on their way and she became a dog training instructor combining her love of the outdoors, and working with animals and their humans. Karen is a graduate of the Marin Humane Society’s Canine Behavior Academy I and II. She is passionate about helping people find their “dog zen” with fun activities, teaching Companion Dog, Agility, Tricks, and private training. Karen currently trains and competes in nosework with Darwin, and in masters agility with her young dog, Eclipse.
