Joni is a special girl…. Happiest Doggie. Excellent with people. Super sweet and cuddly. Good with cats and other dogs. Very good and happy in walks and parks. She is as mellow as they come. Loves humans – all humans, and bonds quickly. She is just a normal happy-go-lucky dog.

Joni is 3 years old, 12 lbs., female – spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. She is blind, but it is business as usual for her. It does not affect her life. She learns the boundaries of the house very quickly.

Joni’s little normal everyday and perfect life:
– Temperament: She is super sweet and gets along with every single human she meets. She is very attached to her people and good with other dogs and cats. She currently lives with 2 other mellow dogs, 1 old cat, and 1 young cat.

– Vet, Boarding, and Pet Sitters: Everyone loves her, she does fine with pet sitters.

– Play Time: She loves to play. She plays with the ball and is thrilled and leaps up and down when she plays with her toys – I have many videos of her playing with the ball and wrestling with her toys. She loves sticks and carries them around.

– Walking on Leash: She works well on a leash. She walks forward and most people don’t even realize she is blind. She responds to commands: “Up” – going upstairs or up the curve, “Down” – going downstairs or down the curve.

– Food & Water: She can find her food and water every time. She is not a picky eater – dry food.

– Cuddlers: she has her favorite cuddlers around the house and knows exactly where they are. She hilariously looks for her cuddler when I move it and then wags her tail when she finds it.

– Sleeping: She sleeps through the night; she sleeps on my bed or a cuddler on the floor.

– Traveling: She is great in the car and flights (she has traveled in cabin, and she is quiet and easy to handle).

She is a young dog, and we do not know why she is mostly blind. She was found abandoned, skinny, and visually impaired. She is now a chunky little girl ready for her forever home, looking for a Guide Loving Human for a Loving Blind Dog 

She sunbathes on the deck and loves it. She is a joy! She is so good, appreciative and smart. She is happy to hang out with me when I am working from home or watching TV. She is also used to staying at home when I leave the house for work or run errands.

I travel for work, and I cannot keep her, otherwise, I would keep this girl in a heartbeat. She makes me appreciate life every day.
