Meet Batty, our sweet little black Minx with a big personality and an even bigger story. This playful guy was born with a rare condition—he didn’t have an anal opening, which meant he couldn’t pass stool like a normal kitten. He was surrendered to our hospital when he was about 3 months old, and thanks to a series of successful surgeries by Dr. Fisher Batty got the second chance he deserved. Now 4 years old, Batty is healthy, happy, and doing great! He takes a little Miralax each day to keep things running smoothly, but since those early surgeries he hasn’t had any major health issues. Because of his unusual start to life—and spending most of his time living inside a vet hospital—Batty hasn’t had the chance to experience a home environment long-term. He’ll need a little time and patience to adjust, but once he settles in, you’ll see just how funny, curious, and affectionate he really is. Batty is looking for a loving home with someone who appreciates quirky, resilient cats and wants to give a forever home to a real-life superhero.
