January is just over one year old, and she still has all of the loving, cuddly energy of a kitten plus the blossoming independence of a cat. She enjoys vocalizing her thoughts, or calling you into the next room to show you her favorite toy. January also loves lying around on her window perch, and definitely appreciates a good view of the neighborhood birds.

January’s ideal home would be one with lots of soft places to nap, and a few good spots to hide in case she gets startled. January will likely do well with other cats of a similar, laid-back nature and calm-but-peppy temperament (we are told she lived with other cats previously). After several months of trying and failing to help our resident cat accept January’s addition to our household, we have made the hard decision to find January a permanent stress-free spot where she can truly flourish and show off everything that makes her so special. Households with large dogs, overly-aggressive cats, or young children still learning how to be gentle are asked to consider adopting a different animal. January is all about gentle love first and foremost, and we want to make sure she ends up surrounded in it.

January has been spayed. Contact: adoptjanuary@gmail.com or (209) 810-0254.
