Minnie is a 10-year-old spunky miniature pincher who doesn’t let the fact that she’s blind hold her back from living life. She’s pretty incredible at navigating the world around her; truly a fearless little explorer who loves to sniff and bork around. Minnie came to us extremely emaciated found as a stray wandering in the middle of the road. She had a UTI, a mast cell tumor and was diagnosed diabetic. We started insulin treatment, antibiotics, and antihistamines right away. She’s is currently in foster care and has shown major improvements and her glucose levels have improved tremendously. She is full of love, sass, and is always wagging her little nub of a tail. This wild old lady has quickly become a staff and volunteer favorite as she is the sweetest girl to everyone she meets! Minnie will need an adopter that is comfortable providing her twice daily insulin injections and continue monitoring her glucose levels to ensure this spunky girl continues to gain weight and thrive in her forever home. She’s currently being fostered with other dogs and cats in the home, will likely do well with other pets given slow introductions. Call our adoption desk if you want more information about this incredible little lady! #ageaintnothingbutanumber #seniordogsrock
