Winston the Cat

Winston is handsome, charming, sweet, and unique! This adorable guy has a heart of gold, but he can get spooked by loud noises or sudden movements, and he’s not a fan of people who don’t respect boundaries. He’s grown pretty confident in our shelter and adores sitting in our laps or next to us getting scritches, but he does need a human who is intimately familiar with overstimulation behavior so they will understand he’s not a ‘pet me all day’ kind of cat- even if he’s sitting in your lap! Sometimes he would rather you ‘pet him with your eyes’. It doesn’t mean he doesn’t love you- in fact, it’s the opposite; if you let him set the pace of your friendship, he will love you beyond meows!
