Celebrate Your Enduring Love

Celebrate love, memories, and the incredible bond we share with our pets and community with our Tags of Love fence! Inspired by Paris’ romantic “Locks of Love” tradition, our Tags of Love fence is a heartfelt way to honor cherished pets, beloved donors, dedicated volunteers, and compassionate staff who have made a difference in our lives.

This beautiful, permanent tribute stands near the entrance of HSSC’s Santa Rosa Shelter in honor of Barbara Von Tillow, whose generous estate gift continues to help animals in need. It was lovingly built by Director of Facilities Operations David Kerwin and adorned with stunning artwork by local artist Katie Durkan.
