Free Vaccine Clinic For Dogs & Cats!
Our free vaccination clinics are offered twice a month from 2-4pm at each location:
- Santa Rosa Shelter: every 1st and 3rd Monday
- Healdsburg Shelter: every 2nd and 4th Wednesday
Vaccines available:
- Feline HCP – protects against rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia
- Canine DA2PP – protects against distemper, adenovirus types 1 & 2, parainfluenza, and parvovirus
Our Santa Rosa location will be expanding services beginning November 3. Stay tuned for additional offerings to help keep pets healthy and families supported.

In 2024, our Free Vaccine Clinics provided 495 FVRCP vaccines for cats, 671 DAPP vaccines for dogs and 386 pet microchips! Thank you Petco Love for generously sponsoring our vaccine clinics!
Our One Health Vaccine Clinic Has Launched!
One Health is an initiative started by the World Health Organization that aims to sustainably balance and optimize the health of people, animals, and ecosystems by mobilizing multiple sectors. We’re proud to be teaming up with Sonoma County Animal Services and California Department of Public Health to bring expanded free vaccines and essential services to our Santa Rosa campus!
Expanded services include HCP vaccines for cats and DA2PP vaccines for dogs, rabies vaccines for dogs and cats, pet licensing and microchips, and free flu vaccines for clients attending with their pets. HSSC’s Pet food pantry services are also provided.
At our pilot clinic held on November 3rd, 25 human flu shots were administered and 55 animals were vaccinated, including 43 rabies vaccines. And 23 clients scheduled spay/neuter appointments for their pets through HSSC’s low-cost spay/neuter clinic!
“By making core pet vaccines more accessible in our community, we can prevent serious illnesses and keep our local pet populations healthy,” says Dr. Ada Norris, DVM, HSSC’s Medical Director.
We’re so excited to be working with our partner agencies to further support the health and wellbeing of the animals in our community – and their guardians too!
One Health Vaccine Clinics will be held on a walk-in basis at HSSC’s Santa Rosa campus, located at 5345 Highway 12 West, on the first and third Mondays of each month from 2pm-4pm. The next clinic is scheduled for November 17.
