Ricky is a wonderfully loving, smart, enthusiastic 4-month pitbull/husky mix. He is very responsive to training, and has learned basic commands fast. (Treats are an excellent motivator.) He is full-time love and tender companionship for his people. He has lived in a home with 3 and 6 year old children (one neurodivergent and non-verbal who he particularly loves). He is curious about cats, but is quickly learning to share space with them. He is high strung, as a puppy can be, and barks at new people and dogs, but it is all tail wags meanwhile. We are working on training him to greet newcomers with quieter enthusiasm, which he is quickly responding to. He really is a fast learner.

His dog dad is off to be a combat medic for the navy, and other family members can’t take him on full time. So we are looking for a forever home for this loving boy. He will truly be such a loving and happy member of your family.
