Matthew has me a few inches shy of becoming a foster failure but my cats are distressed sharing their space with another, I am moving in a few months, and it’s important that I place Matthew in a forever home soon. He is the most incredibly sweet, gentle, playful, loyal, polite, and easily contented cat and all who have met him have immediately joined his fan club. He’s a 10/10.
Matthew belonged to my neighbors and was in pretty bad shape by the time they got evicted and abandoned him. In the last few months I have put weight on him, have gotten him vaccinated, I’ve done bloodwork and x-rays to confirm that he is one healthy boy, rid him of all his bugs, and have treated all of his dental decay (he’s down to one trusty tooth). Since I do not know his history, I am guessing he is about 10 years old and broke his leg at sometime in the past, as he has a permanent limp. He can still scale a fence, but does need help jumping onto your lap for a good cuddle. He is also neutered!
It would be important to his happiness to be able to still go outside and he does very well with other cats. The hardest thing about him is that he will only agree to eat kibble… and with all else that could apply, I think that’s a good sign of him being incredibly adaptable and an EASY addition to anyone’s home. Due to his rough past, I want to ensure that he lands a family that takes care of his health and happiness into his senior years and right now his health charts are clear.
He deserves all the love in the world. Might you be his person? Contact: rainap88@gmail.com or (707) 494-5947.
