Suki has been living with me in the country south of Sebastopol. I adopted her on !2/31/2021 from the Sebastopol Humane Society. In general, she is a sweet and loving kitty, and if a pet parent has no other pets and can adjust to her petting preferences, she will be a wonderful addition to single person or couple with no children. She has been a joy to have in my life. Unfortunately things have changed with my financial situation and I have to find a new place to live. I don’t see being able to keep her once I find a new place to live. Suki needs a loving forever home, ideally with a large yard or field nearby. She loves to hunt, and sometimes she catches gophers and lizards. She has enjoyed a free reign of this property I have been living on, and has been using the cat flap I put in the window to come and go throughout the day. Suki is usually very loving and cuddly, often curling up in my lap. She sometimes prefers to curl up in a chair by her self. She has not been exposed to children that I know of, and I would advise against it. Suki doesn’t get along with other cats, or any other animals. I have no other pets, but there are other cats in the area that have sent her to the vet with an abscess more than once. She can be a feisty cat, so any new pet parent should be savvy with her personality. She gets overstimulated sometimes, and I have developed a process with her when I pet her. She doesn’t like to see the hand that pets her, so I pet her from behind her head. She likes to be gently petted behind the ears, on her head and under her chin. She doesn’t like her rear end to be petted much. I have been feeding her Tiki Cat Chicken and Herring cat food. It is a little more expensive than some, but it has kept her from getting constipated. She was on Hills Chicken flavor cat food when I picked her up. She will eat almost any cat food, but I wanted to make sure she had nutritious food that would be good for her joints.
I have disclosed everything about Suki to avoid surprises. Suki comes with a lot of extra stuff; if you adopt her through this ad you will get a cat box that fits in a corner of a room, a small cat tree, the cat flap that fits in a small window, and a really nice cat carrier. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and if Suki sounds like a cat you would like to meet, I look forward to arranging a meeting.
