Jill and her brother Jack are looking for a new home. I adopted the bonded pair 5 years ago, when I was a single woman living alone. Since then, my household has grown to include a husband and two kids who are sadly, allergic to cats. We tried to make it work, but it’s just not a great situation for anyone including Jack & Jill. They used to have free reign of the house, but are now contained to one main living room and all bedrooms are shut to them. I would love for them to find a home or family who will let them roam free (indoors only), so they can happily look out windows and lounge anywhere they please. They are spayed & neutered, gentle with children, quiet, and happy kitties.
Jill is a little more independent. She loves to be fed first and is the first one to venture out and inspect her new surroundings. Her brother is a little more shy and depends on Jill’s strong, gentle spirit to ground him. As long as you provide a high perch for her to view her kingdom, she will happily grace you with her presence. She loves attention, but only on her terms. Gentle and kind, these kitties have never scratched anyone including our chaotic toddlers.
They come from a pretty mellow home, but it can get noisy with two toddlers running aorund. They prefer to be the only animals in the house, although they have gotten along with small dogs who have visited before.
