Jasper is a loving playful ball of energy. He currently resides in a home with 2-3 other dogs (his cousins visit often) and has been to doggy daycare multiple times and thrives. Jasper is crate trained, and mostly house trained. He loves his daily walks, playtime, and his favorite thing in the world is wrestling with his big brother all day long. Jasper loves to learn and is a very fast learner with basic commands but needs a home where he can learn to be a gentleman when it’s not playtime. The terrier energy and sassiness is very strong with this one!

Jasper can be wary of new people but usually warms up within 15 minutes by jumping into the person’s lap or asking for pets. He would do well to have more exposure to the outside world because loud noises or bikes can startle him.

The best home for Jasper would be with an owner who is familiar with terriers and has trained dogs before and has the time and energy to devote to training this playful boy! .Jasper Cruz has high energy and loves to play all day long and loves to be around other dogs and wrestle! Hopefully you have other dogs in your home who enjoy the same. Jasper has not been around small children so a home with older children/adults is strongly preferred.

Jasper was rescued by a colleague at work and has been with our family since he was 9 weeks old. We all love Jasper but this year has brought many changes to our family very very quickly and we are unable to keep up with the training that Jasper desperately needs. He is well taken care of and loved but we feel that he needs a home that can devote the time and energy to his training.
