Sonoma County Spay/Neuter Instructional Program (SOCO S.N.I.P.)

WE WANT YOU…

To be a part of the solution!

Veterinary shortages are profoundly impacting California’s most vulnerable animals. As a result, shelters are becoming overcrowded, illnesses are rising, and adoptable animals are being euthanized. Now is your chance to help us change that!

In an effort to increase capacity of spay-neuter services in California shelters, the Humane Society of Sonoma County (HSSC) is partnering with California for All Animals and Community Animal Medicine Project to remove barriers to training in essential surgical and clinical techniques.

We are seeking trainees and additional instructors for this exciting program! Please join us!

SOCO SNIP, a spay/neuter training center located at Humane Society of Sonoma County’s Santa Rosa campus, provides licensed California veterinarians with the opportunity to gain hands-on surgical experience in essential surgical and clinical techniques for High-Quality, High-Volume Spay and Neuter. 4-day sessions scheduled now through 2024.

Help us increase spay-neuter services in California shelters! Together we can learn, grow, & create positive outcomes for animals in need!
